How can we help.
Quick answers to the questions we hear most, and a direct line to the people who build Playbook.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you write in
When do my picks lock?+
Each game locks at its scheduled kickoff, and you can change a pick until then. Some groups also lock a pick as soon as you submit it; your group’s rules show which.
Regular-season slates are set Wednesday at noon Central. A game without a line by then is left off that week’s card, so nothing new appears at the last minute.
How do groups work?+
A group is a private competition with its own games, rules and standings. Create one from the Groups tab and share the invite link, or join with a code from your commissioner.
You make one weekly card, and those picks count in every group whose slate includes the game. Spread, straight-up (moneyline) and fantasy groups keep separate standings.
How does college fantasy work?+
Fantasy leagues have 8, 10 or 12 managers. The draft opens once the league is full, then you set a weekly lineup of college players, and add or drop players through waivers and free agency.
Does Playbook handle entry fees or payouts?+
No. Playbook takes no wagers and processes no payments. Some groups track an entry fee or name a banker, but any money is settled between members outside the app. See the Terms for details.
How do I delete my account?+
Open Account on the web, or Account in the iPhone app, and choose Delete account. Your profile, picks and group memberships are removed permanently. Groups you run are handed to another member first. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.
How do I turn off reminder emails?+
Use the email toggles on your Account page, or the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any reminder.
Something looks wrong. How do I report it?+
Use the form on this page. Tell us the group, the week and what you expected to see. If a score or line looks off, the game and the time you noticed it are the most useful details.
